About Alligator Bay
Alligator Bay is a specialized reptile park near Mont Saint-Michel, housing over 700 animals from 85 species across five continents. Founded in 1994 by terrarium enthusiast Jean-Pierre Macé, it has grown into Europe's largest alligator collection. The 10,000 m² facility features three main zones: a tropical greenhouse with 200+ crocodilians kept at 25-30°C, the Dragon Labyrinth with snakes, iguanas, and lizards, and a turtle farm with 400+ tortoises including 250 kg Seychelles giants.
