About Christian Dior Museum
The Christian Dior Museum occupies Villa Les Rhumbs, the Belle Époque childhood home where the legendary fashion designer spent summers from age 1 to 25. The Dior family purchased this clifftop property in 1906, and its English landscape gardens created by his mother Madeleine profoundly shaped his creative vision. The museum spans three floors showcasing haute couture collections, sketches, photographs, perfumes, and personal items from the House of Dior's archives.

The villa's name 'Les Rhumbs' refers to the 32 divisions of a compass rose, a nautical term fitting for this seafront property. The entrance hall still features the original wind rose mosaic floor from the Belle Époque era.
