About Parrot World
Parrot World is a 10-hectare immersive animal park in Crécy-la-Chapelle, 45 minutes east of Paris, dedicated to South American biodiversity. Opened in August 2020, the park houses over 600 animals across 120 species, including macaws, jaguars, giant Amazonian otters, Humboldt penguins, capybaras, and flamingos. The Amazonia Trek features a 1-hectare open-air aviary roughly 10 meters high where over 200 parrots fly freely alongside herons and ibis.

The park was created by Eric Vignot, a former pharmaceutical entrepreneur who sold his laboratory company and invested €23 million of his personal fortune to build Parrot World. He discovered parrots while volunteering at a shelter and decided to devote the second half of his career to their conservation.
