Lumigny Safari Reserve

Spend a full day among the world's largest collection of wild cat species at this 71-hectare zoological park in the Seine-et-Marne countryside, just 60 km east of Paris. Five pedestrian circuits wind through spacious natural enclosures where lions, snow leopards, cheetahs, jaguars, and dozens of smaller feline species roam in conditions close to their natural habitats. The optional Terre de Singes circuit adds free-roaming squirrel monkeys, ring-tailed lemurs, and a walk-through aviary with over 150 parrots, while the new Grand Nord section introduces polar bears and arctic wolves. Children can enjoy a mini-farm, a 3D cinema, and the Trans'Félins tourist train between areas. The park operates seasonally from February through November, with hours varying — arrive by 09:30 in spring and summer to make the most of feeding presentations throughout the day.
