Spend the day at one of France's oldest safari parks, where the traditional zoo concept is turned inside out — you stay in the car while elephants, giraffes, and rhinos roam freely across 150 hectares of open terrain. The hour-long drive-through safari passes through African savanna, North American woodland, and bear territory before you continue on foot through the walking zoo, where glass tunnels cut directly through lion and tiger enclosures overhead. Over 1,300 animals from 150 species live here, including 60 enrolled in European breeding programs. The park opens daily from April to November at 10:00 with last entry at 16:00; winter hours are reduced to Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only outside school holidays.
