About Aristide Briand Public Garden
The Aristide Briand Public Garden is a charming municipal park created in 1927 in the heart of Louviers, named after the French statesman and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aristide Briand. This tranquil green space features centuries-old sequoias, elegant silver linden trees, and a graceful weeping sophora, along with a small stream winding through the grounds. The garden includes a children's playground, a historic kiosk (recently renamed Kiosque Julien Lefèvre after the mayor who created the park), and a traditional dovecote.
