The church's magnificent organ case was donated by Louis XIV between 1666 and 1670. Over the centuries, legendary organ builders maintained it, including François-Henri Clicquot in 1786 and Aristide Cavaillé-Coll in 1884. Charles-Marie Widor himself performed at its 1925 reinauguration.
