About Farm-Museum of Cotentin
The Farm-Museum of Cotentin occupies a 17th-century manor-farm complex with thick stone walls arranged around a central courtyard. The museum recreates early 20th-century Norman rural life through authentically furnished rooms including a family common room, cider press, bakery, stables, and cowshed. Its collection of nearly 2,500 objects earned the prestigious Musée de France designation in 2014.
