About Villa Strassburger
Villa Strassburger is a grand Anglo-Norman manor house built in 1907 by architect Georges Pichereau, located near Deauville's famous racecourse. Originally commissioned by Baron Henri de Rothschild, the villa was acquired in 1924 by American newspaper publisher Ralph Beaver Strassburger, whose heirs donated it to the City of Deauville in 1980. The villa retains its original Belle Époque furnishings, decorations, and an extensive collection of horse paintings and period caricatures.
