About Arromanches 360
Arromanches 360 is a circular cinema overlooking the remains of the Mulberry artificial harbor built by Allied forces during World War II. The cinema features nine screens arranged in a full circle, immersing visitors in 'The 100 Days of Normandy,' a 19-minute documentary combining rare British, American, Canadian, German and French archive footage. The film covers the period from D-Day on June 6, 1944 to the liberation of Le Havre on September 12, 1944, paying tribute to soldiers of all nations and the 20,000 civilians killed during the Battle of Normandy.

The circular cinema technology was pioneered in 1900 at the Paris World Exhibition. Arromanches 360 is one of only a handful of 360-degree cinemas still operating worldwide, using the same immersive projection concept developed over a century ago.
