About Museum of Fairground Arts
The Musée des Arts Forains is a private museum housed in 19th-century wine warehouses in the Bercy district of Paris's 12th arrondissement. Founded by actor and antiques dealer Jean Paul Favand, who began collecting fairground objects in 1972, the museum opened at its current location in 1996. The collection spans over 6,000 square meters and includes 14 working amusement rides, 16 fair stalls, and more than 1,500 individual pieces dating from 1850 to 1950.
