About Grand Palais
The Grand Palais is a monumental exhibition hall on the Champs-Elysees, built between 1897 and 1900 for the Universal Exposition. Four architects collaborated on the project: Henri Deglane designed the Nave, Albert Louvet the intermediate section, Albert Thomas the Palais d'Antin, and Charles Girault coordinated the overall design. The building combines a Beaux-Arts stone exterior with Art Nouveau iron-and-glass interiors, crowned by the largest glass roof in Europe spanning over 13,500 square meters.
