About Park on the Banks of the Eure
6-hectare riverside park in Chartres' lower town, stretching along the banks of the Eure River between Faubourg-la-Grappe and the waterway. The park offers shaded walking paths, footbridges with views of Chartres Cathedral, two age-separated children's playgrounds, a mini-golf course, and a small petting zoo with goats, rabbits, and birds. The waterside area known as "La Petite Venise" rents pedalos and canoes from April to October.
