About Sully-sur-Loire Saint-Germain Cultural Space
A former Gothic parish church first documented in 1153, converted into a municipal cultural space in 2006 after extensive restoration. The building served as the parish church for Loire river bargemen for centuries before suffering severe damage from Allied bombing in July 1944. Classified as a Historic Monument since 1939, it features the highest wooden-framed spire in France at 38 meters.
