About Cerabrique - Museographic Space
Céra'brique is a permanent exhibition dedicated to architectural ceramics, housed inside the Fabrique Normant — a classified historic monument built with reinforced concrete by engineer François Hennebique in the early 20th century. The collection of nearly 7,000 pieces includes stamped bricks, decorative terracotta, roof ornaments, friezes, and Art Nouveau stoneware dating from the 19th and 20th centuries. Assembled over more than 20 years by private collector Michel Pasquier, the collection received the official "Musée de France" label from the French Ministry of Culture in 2011.

The Fabrique Normant building has had three completely different industrial lives before becoming a cultural venue. It started as a wool textile factory for the Normant family, then became the automobile workshop of car manufacturer René Bonnet in 1960, and was later taken over by Matra — the same company whose cars are celebrated in the adjacent Matra Automobile Museum.
