About Château de La Ferté-Saint-Aubin
The Château de La Ferté-Saint-Aubin is a privately owned 17th-century castle in the Sologne region, 22 km south of Orléans. Built by the Saint-Nectaire family between the late 1500s and mid-1600s, the property includes the older "petit château" and a larger main building with flanking pavilions surrounded by moats. The Guyot family has owned and restored the castle since 1987, opening it to the public to fund ongoing conservation work.
