About MOBE — Orléans Museum of Biodiversity and Environment
The MOBE (Muséum d'Orléans pour la Biodiversité et l'Environnement) is a natural history museum in Orléans that reopened in 2021 after a six-year renovation. Spread across five levels, it displays 1,200 specimens from a collection of over 435,000 items, covering biodiversity, geology, and the ecosystems of the Loire Valley. The second floor explores how living organisms function — reproduction, movement, nutrition — through hands-on interactive stations and multimedia displays.
